Bank Indonesia and the Indonesian Fashion Chamber (IFC) hosted the main event of the Indonesian International Modest Fashion Festival, IN2MOTIONFEST 2025. It took place at JIEXPO in Jakarta and was part of the Indonesian Sharia Economic Forum (ISEF), the country's largest annual event on Islamic economics and finance, where business, culture, and technology converge.

IN2MOTIONFEST is an industry showcase: designers, manufacturers, artisans, entrepreneurs, and students present collections and launch collaborative projects. There is a special focus on responsible production and respect for Muslim traditions.
Fabrics and wastra—batik, songket, ikat, lurik, tapis, sasirangan, jumputan, as well as embroidery, knitwear, and eco-prints—have been given a modern interpretation in the collections of IKRA (Indonesian Creative Sharia Industry Association) participants, small and medium business brands, and fashion school students.

The runways and exhibitions featured 1,785 modest clothing collections from 214 designers and brands, including 11 international participants from Thailand, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Malaysia, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Australia, and Dubai.
The Wastra Business Matching program included 100 masters from traditional craft communities. This strengthened ties between designers and manufacturers and helped Indonesian modest fashion make a bigger statement internationally.

Perry Warjiyo noted that most participants are women. "These works are crafted by mothers who strive to provide a better future for their children. That’s why supporting women's SMEs is especially important for us," he said.

IN2MOTIONFEST 2025 is not just about showcases; it is living proof of Indonesia's cultural strength: women's leadership, responsible production, and a rich craft heritage, which is increasingly making its mark internationally.
