Remember, you can have your U.S. visa interview in Indonesia, in Jakarta and Surabaya. The approval rates here are currently very good.
1️⃣ Make sure you have all necessary documents, including your passport, application forms, payment confirmation, invitation letters, proof of financial stability, and any other required documents.
However, keep in mind that the U.S. does not have an official list, and you should only provide documents upon request.
2️⃣ Prepare brief and clear answers to potential questions.
You can discuss them with our experts. They will help you get ready.
3️⃣ Appearance matters.
Choose a business or neat casual attire to make a good impression.
4️⃣ Arrive early for the interview.
Being late could create a negative impression and even lead to the interview being canceled.
5️⃣ Answer the officer's questions clearly and concisely.
Do not mention anything that you were not asked about. Do not try to hide information or lie. All your answers should be logical and consistent with the information in the application.
6️⃣ Stay calm and confident.
It's normal to be nervous during the interview, but try to control your emotions. Do not show that getting the visa is of utmost importance to you.
7️⃣ The officer needs to know that you will return home after your trip.
Be prepared to provide proof of strong ties to your home country or temporary residence, such as work, family, or property. If you have been living in Bali for a long time, having a KITAS and any ties to Indonesia (work, business, property) will be an advantage.
