Benoa Port is now ready to accommodate large cruise ships as a port of call and to perform full passenger operations – disembarkation and embarkation, when the voyage begins or ends in Bali. For this purpose, the eastern cruise pier was extended to 500 meters (formerly 350), allowing two large liners to dock simultaneously. Thus, on January 11–12, the Regatta remained at the pier while the Viking Orion docked.
In 2025, Benoa Port handled 65 cruise ships and around 140,000 international tourists. For 2026, the port already has preliminary bookings from dozens of cruise ships.
