In Kuta, there is a large market, but it is quite well hidden from tourist eyes in the alleys and tucked away in a less popular part of the area. The market is very local, with a corresponding atmosphere and a somewhat unkempt appearance, so be prepared for that. In the evenings, the market also operates, but more as a place for purely Indonesian dinners.

Everything is much cheaper than in supermarkets. It's great for experiencing the local atmosphere. Sometimes the price for fruits and vegetables can be half as much as in supermarkets. In the mornings, it can be difficult to find parking spots.

It operates from 3:00 AM until 12:00 PM noon. The market is very spacious, bright, and clean. There are plenty of vegetables and fruits, groceries, traditional clothing, textiles, and items used in rituals.
