Denpasar, the capital of Bali, boasts cultural landmarks and historical sites, reflecting the vibrant spirit of bustling Asia. However, many tourists visiting Bali never actually explore Denpasar.
The Head of the Denpasar Tourism Department, Ni Luh Putu Riyastiti, shared her plans for 2025 and advised travelers planning a trip to Bali to look out for special promotions and marketing campaigns dedicated to the island’s capital, which will feature exciting and valuable offers.
In 2025, Denpasar aims to welcome 2.1 million tourists, building on the success of 2024, when the city exceeded its target of 1.9 million visitors.
“To achieve this goal, we will actively promote Denpasar online, utilize social media, collaborate with tourism industry representatives and stakeholders, enhance the quality of our tourist attractions, and organize a variety of events,” she stated.
Riyastiti added that the Denpasar administration is focusing on enhancing both the potential and quality of the city’s tourism industry.

The festival’s main venue is the Taman Werdhi Budaya Art Center, also known as the Bali Arts Center, located in the heart of Denpasar.
