Broken Beach on Penida is one of the most stunning places on the island. It is a beach surrounded by cliffs, where water flows in and out through a natural arch in the stone.
Broken Beach is located in the western part of Nusa Penida. It can be reached from the Toyapakeh port in about 1 hour. This attraction is just a few minutes away from Angel's Billabong - a natural infinity pool in the rock.
Swimming is not allowed at this beach, but the location itself is very beautiful. You can take a stroll around the beach along the top of the surrounding cliffs.
There are small warungs near the beach where you can enjoy coffee or coconut water.
If you want to visit the beach when there are fewer tourists or almost none, choose the morning right after sunrise, around 6:30 - 7:00 am.
