Bike Trip in the Rain

When traveling in Bali, always be prepared for rain. Despite the mostly clear weather at the moment, the island is officially in the rainy season. And if you plan to travel to the mountains, the chances of returning dry are minimal.
We want to remind you that riding a bike in the rain requires special attention, so we have prepared some recommendations for you:
1️⃣ Before the trip, make sure the scooter is in good working condition. Check the brakes, lights, and tire condition.
2️⃣ In the rain, and especially in the mountains, it's easy to get cold on a scooter. Wear warm clothing - a sweatshirt and jeans, a raincoat or waterproof jacket, and always closed comfortable shoes.
3️⃣ During rain, visibility may be reduced, so we recommend wearing bright clothing, such as a bright raincoat, to be visible to other road users.
4️⃣ In poor visibility conditions, you can also turn on the hazard lights to make yourself more visible.
5️⃣ Wear a helmet with a visor, it will help protect your eyes from raindrops.
6️⃣ Do not speed! Be especially careful on turns, as the roads can be slippery.
7️⃣ Rain can wash away potholes and bumps on the road. Be attentive and avoid sudden movements to prevent losing balance accidentally.
8️⃣ Pay attention to road signs and warnings. They can indicate dangerous road sections.
9️⃣ If you plan a long trip, take spare clothing with you.
🔟 If you encounter a severe storm, heavy rain pouring, and you feel uncomfortable - it is better to stop and wait until the weather calms down.
