Sanur Opens a Six-Storey Motorcycle Parking Hub

A multi-level 'elevator' parking for motorcycles has been launched in Sanur: six floors, platform lifts, and management via staff. The project is designed to address the chronic shortage of parking spaces near the beach and around the new zone with small and medium-sized businesses.

The parking facility accommodates about 600 motorcycles, plus around 100 spaces remain on the lower level. In December 2025, the facility was already shown as almost ready and was scheduled to be operational by January 2026; test runs started in late December, while paid service began in January.
Drivers leave their bikes on the first level (they are asked not to lock the handlebars), then the staff group the bikes and lift them to the upper floors. The parking is equipped with CCTV, and bike 'delivery' is managed by the staff to reduce theft risks and chaos during busy days.
Rates: 2,000 rupiah for the first hour and 2,000 rupiah for each subsequent hour, with a maximum of 10,000 rupiah; there's an option to 'leave for a day' — 15,000 rupiah per day.
The construction was financed by a partner-contractor from Jakarta, with investments estimated at around 6–7 billion rupiah. Management is planned for 10 years under a revenue-sharing scheme of 30% for the Adat Sanur village and 70% for the contractor.
