A Mega Amusement Park Is Coming to Bali

Tourism Indonesia Tbk, owned by businessman Hari Tanoesoedibjo, has obtained the rights to manage a 92.08-hectare plot of land in the KBS Park area (Taman Kerthi Bali Semesta), Pekutatan, in West Bali.

They plan to build an international amusement park, water park, and resort, which will become one of the largest tourist attractions in Southeast Asia. The project will be carried out in collaboration with one of the world's renowned theme park operators, who have an extensive portfolio of popular franchises, but the specific company has not yet been named.
“With a concept of thrilling adventures amidst lush tropical nature, this area will offer many impressive attractions and unforgettable experiences for visitors of all ages,” said Tanoesoedibjo.
He noted that access to the park will be provided by a new toll road, previously initiated by PT Tol Jagat Kerthi Bali. This will be Indonesia's first toll road equipped with a bicycle lane and allowing motorcycle traffic for tens of kilometers. Currently, the government continues the land acquisition process.
Hari is convinced that this infrastructure will be a significant boost for tourism growth in West Bali. “We are confident that this theme park will become a landmark destination on the island,” he stated.
This is not the first amusement park project; a few years ago, Paramount planned to build its own theme park in Bali, but no further information about the project has been released.
