The only decent restaurant near Uluwatu Temple/Pura Uluwatu.
A family restaurant owned by a local Balinese family. Several rooms - open, a few gazebo gazebos, tables in the garden, and a closed room with air conditioning (non-smoking), and if you have a large company and go to sit separately, it will suit you. The place is clean, they bring you a wet towel right away to freshen up.
The price is not low, but the portions are generous. The staff is attentive, they speak English, the owners are friendly, often in the hall, prompt, help. Regular customers can treat fruit or dessert, they try to remember the guests. Parking lot is on the side of the restaurant.
Here you can try rijstafel - it is a complex with simultaneous serving of a large number of dishes in small portions. At once you will try different local dishes in one set, the price is for the whole complex. The rest of the menu is Indonesian and Balinese cuisine. Taxes +15%.
Interesting story of the origin of the name of the restaurant - Bejana, so called jugs in which, in Balinese antiquity:) locals had to carry water from Jimbaran to Uluwatu, walking more than 30 km, carrying these jugs. Heroically strong people!
