Secret Café is a charming and surprisingly affordable spot in Nusa Dua. It boasts a pleasant, creative atmosphere and delicious, generously portioned food.
The owner, a local artist, often serves customers herself, ensuring excellent service. Her beautiful paintings adorn the café, making it as bright and colorful as her art. This soulful place attracts many customers, especially Europeans, with a particular fondness from Italians.
Breakfast is served all day, with options ranging from 30k to 50k.
The menu features a good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, all prepared without MSG and using coconut oil instead of palm oil.
The café also offers homemade baked goods, with the owner baking delicious pies herself. As soon as one is finished, she bakes a new one, ensuring freshness. These baked goods are butter-free.
Tea and coffee are served with cookies, adding a nice touch.
The owner personally buys the ingredients, prioritizing freshness and quality.
Must-try items from the menu include:
- Vegetarian Omelette: A delicious omelette made with three eggs, tomato, onion, carrot, mushrooms, and beans.
- Popeye Breakfast: An omelette with spinach, bacon, and tomato, served with avocado salsa and whole grain bread.
- Greek Salad: A hearty salad with various vegetables, olives, and plenty of feta cheese, served with two pieces of bread. The portion is generous, perfect for sharing!
- Nasi Goreng: The vegetarian nasi goreng with vegetables and egg is highly praised and costs just 35k!
- Homemade Baked Goods: Freshly baked pies and other treats.
Additionally, the café sells branded T-shirts and handmade jewelry made from 925 silver and Swarovski crystals. T-shirts, available for both women and men, cost between 160k and 180k. The cotton is very pleasant, and the price is reasonable for such excellent quality.
Please note that the café is closed on Wednesdays.
