Atmosphere:
Located on the lower level of the Four Seasons Hotel in Ubud, Riverside cafe is the hotel's second restaurant - Ayung Terrace is on the top floor.
Walking across the hotel's famous suspension bridge, admiring the lotus pond and stunning jungle views, and soaking up the smiles of the staff, you'll be ready for an amazing culinary experience.
The restaurant offers a wonderful view of the bustling river and pool, and in the evening tables are put out closer to the river and light candles - romance is guaranteed.
Separately it is worth noting the work of the staff - such attention (exactly as much as you need) gives even more charm to lunch or dinner.
Cuisine:
The menu of Riverside cafe includes familiar and pleasant to the European ear words: burgers, salads, steaks and brownies, but with a unique author's reading.
There is a separate vegan menu.
Literally everything is tasty, serving is also on the top - if you are afraid to be disappointed or are looking for a place for dinner, which will please even the most fastidious, you are definitely here.
We suggest starting with the salads, such as the Tuna Riviera - an exquisite salad with tuna, artichokes, romaine lettuce and croutons with olive tapenade and goat cheese.
For vegetarians, a great choice would be the Clean Living - Bowl with quinoa, tender avocado, pumpkin, chickpeas, dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds and yogurt tahini dressing.
If you don't know where the best steaks are in Ubud (we didn't either) - well, they're here too: a succulent, perfectly grilled Angus beef steak with salad and fries (it's not without it, but it's surprisingly good too!).
The perfect vegan brownie made its way here, too. Dense, unsweetened, richly chocolatey and not giving away its vegan nature in any way - a dangerous treat that makes you want more. But kids probably won't like it - it's low in sugar.
Drinks:
Riverside cafe has a great selection of signature cocktails, quality wine and their healthy alternatives - green juices and cold coolers.
