Futuristic glamping in the heart of the Ubud jungle with a unique design and an open-air restaurant
A unique project in one of the most picturesque places in Ubud - a luxury camping of amazing beauty and scale, as if "hung" in the heart of the jungle.
Capella is an impressive complex of 22 villas - tents with a private pool with salt water, a two-story restaurant with a stunning view, a bar, a large outdoor pool, a top-notch fitness center and many open spaces,
Each villa is made in an individual design and consists of the smallest details that you can look at endlessly, finding something new for yourself every day.
A spacious private terrace (with a million dollar view), a private infinity pool with salt water, hidden from prying eyes by dense jungle thickets, a round stone bathtub that begs for rose petals, and cosmetics on the bathroom shelf that any beauty blogger would envy.
Paintings on the walls, carved doors, brightly painted pillows, sofas upholstered in buffalo leather, handcrafted appliances, a home bar with the best wines and selective alcohol, fresh flowers - every detail of the villas is made with love and selected with the utmost attention and taste.
Definitely - it's worth it. This is an experience that you will tell your friends about.
And maybe even your grandchildren))
Cuisine:
Capella has several restaurants - everyone can visit not only the hotel guest, but also any guest. We were in the central - two-level Mads Lodge
The restaurant works exclusively with the freshest products and seasonal ingredients. The restaurant's chef is the famous Australian Mat McCool.
The menu is a mix of European, Asian and Indonesian cuisine, everyone will find a dish to their taste.
Very rich and delicious breakfasts (starting the day here is a great idea for an unforgettable morning in Ubud): each breakfast is served with a bread basket with hot buns and homemade bread, a fruit platter with all the seasonal fruits and several tropical fruit jams with organic honey.
For the main course, you can choose a large scrambled egg or poached eggs, and for the especially hungry - a whole "frying pan of happiness" called Camp Breakfast: 2 fried eggs, homemade sausages, baked vegetables, tomatoes, bacon, beans and crispy toast from dark bread.
For a light start to the day, choose the Bali Brekkie Bowl with papaya, watermelon and other seasonal fruits, sprinkled with granola and other toppings.
There are crepes with soft ricotta and banana, as well as Chinese (how about dim sum for breakfast?) and Indonesian (or black rice pudding?) breakfasts.
The main menu is an amazing flight of fancy of the head Chef.
Delicate lemon meringue tart for dessert or rich chocolate parfait, and as a starter - foie gras terrine with ginger chutney and fluffy brioche, refreshing Malay cucumber laksa and spicy, rich tom yum for lovers of soups.
The Main Course is divided into several sections: From the sea (Fish and seafood), From the land (Meat) and From the Wok (Wok). Here you can find fresh oysters, whole lobster, tender steamed barracuda, mouth-watering lamb with rosemary and a new take on classic nasi goreng - cooked in a wok.
Drinks:
Excellent coffee, perfectly made flat white with almond milk.
Be sure to try Jamu - a classic Indonesian "health drink" with turmeric, here it is made with cold soda and acquires a surprisingly refreshing taste.
Excellent green and freshly squeezed fruit juices. Signature cocktails and an extensive wine list.
