Hotel, beach club and high-class healthy restaurant with a stunning view of Echo beach
COMO is a global chain of premium hotels. In Bali, the chain has 2 hotels in Ubud and one in Canggu (Como Uma Canggu), on the shore of Echo beach.
Everything is perfect here from the first step: a spacious reception, smiling staff, harmonious light colors, soft lighting, well-groomed green area. The minimalist interior at first glance is filled with details: unique lamps and paintings, handmade textiles, stone and glass, furniture of the highest quality.
The concept of the entire chain is a holistic approach to health, relaxation and life in general, implying harmony and balance of all components: soul, body and mind.
At Como UMA Canggu, everything is done with love for the guests: functional rooms and kitchens in penthouses and residences, “assembled” to the highest standard, a unique SPA where you can forget about any problems for a day, an equipped gym and a Pilates studio (I honestly admit, I have not seen a studio of this level anywhere in Bali) and even its own surfing school.
All instructors are world-class specialists.
Como Uma Canggu has several types of accommodation: from small rooms and family suites to two-story penthouses and spacious residences with three bedrooms.
Whatever you choose, you want to stay and live here. I instantly fell in love with the two-level penthouse – real 400 square meters (!) of happiness.
Light, as if floating interior, the rooms are “permeated” with air, light wood, white bed linen, endless floor-to-ceiling windows, bright, but not out of the general “mood!” textiles… There is nothing to complain about :)
But the main “treasure” is an unforgettable view of the silvery expanse of the ocean stretching into the endless distance and your own infinity pool on the second level of this paradise.
At the same time, there is no sense of “overkill” here. All rooms, penthouses and residences are maximally functional and equipped with the latest technology. In short, if you want to forget about everything and plunge into the ocean of self-care, beauty and harmony – this is the place for you.
Cuisine:
And for you and me – for food, in the COMO Beach club.
COMO Beach club is open not only for hotel guests – everyone can spend the whole day by the pool, have dinner with a view of the purple sunset or stop by for a signature cocktail. Rich breakfasts with 7 am.
The menu features a mix of cuisines from around the world (please note that there is a different menu for lunch and dinner).
Everything is made from fresh ingredients, seasonal vegetables and with maximum care for health: no extra oil, unnecessary breading, deep-frying and other unnecessary things for health.
For an appetizer, be sure to take the rich Mezze plate with homemade creamy hummus, spicy baked eggplant dip, olive paste and soft flatbreads.
Another great option is light rolls with avocado, jicama and juicy citrus sauce.
The "star" of the salad menu is the Big Rainbow Salad. This is a truly bright rainbow of flavors: thin strips of seasonal vegetables, fleshy avocado, beetroot spirals, pumpkin seeds and crispy broccoli.
Be sure to try the soft burrata with basil with a glass of wine.
For meat lovers, the choice is also quite large: pork tacos, Echo burger with beef patty, unusual "eastern" pizza with lamb.
Como beach club also has a large grill: don't miss the opportunity to try grilled squid, tuna with chickpeas or chicken satay with cashews.
Desserts are a separate song. Cheesecake with mango and cashew cream (vegan) is just the bomb!
Drinks:
Impressive non-alcoholic menu: a large selection of freshly squeezed juices, thick smoothies and refreshing ice "spritzers" - choose between ginger, tamarind, lemongrass, hibiscus or jasmine.
Coffee from Expat. Roasters - a sign of quality.
An extensive alcohol menu - each signature cocktail deserves attention. Here you will find refreshing gin and tonics with goji berries and Sichuan pepper, classic margaritas, and strong mixes based on drinks from the distant 18th century based on aged tequila, rum and gin.
Taxes 21%.
