Of course, the best breakfast is a homemade one. However, sometimes it's too lazy or not possible to cook at home from the early morning, which is where cafes come in. Moreover, a good breakfast served with a smile is practically priceless.

Just ULU

Let's start our selection with a new café called Just ULU or ULU Artisan on the map.
This is a paradise of flavors and pastries. They have the freshest croissants, Danishes, and buns. You should visit this place for breakfast if you crave exquisite presentation, creative dishes, and your taste buds are quite spoiled. For example, I tried the Woke Folk - an avocado toast that has many additions: a delicate non-fatty cream with spices previously unknown to me. It awakened all my taste buds and pleasantly surprised me. The granola with fruit, also known as the OG fruit bowl, was incredibly delicious as well.
Other menu items also feature tempting combinations and additions to regular breakfasts.
I highly recommend trying these or other dishes to your liking. There are two "buts": queues and waiting time for food. It gets really busy during breakfast hours, so you might have to wait for 10-15 minutes. We waited about 20 minutes for our order. Hopefully, the chef will be in a good mood, and you'll be as lucky with the food as we were.
The prices are as follows: Woke Folk 80,000 IDR, granola with fruit 50,000 IDR, pastries from 60,000 IDR, coffee from 35,000 IDR. Taxes and fees - 15%.
Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 15:00.

Suka Espresso

Perhaps the most well-known and popular café for breakfast. And it's well-deserved - they have a wide selection of dishes, excellent coffee, and a great price-to-quality ratio.
This café is always bustling with people, creating a lively, noisy atmosphere, and provides good service. Waiters often remember customers and are quite attentive to each visitor, as much as possible by Balinese standards.
The space is open, and the air is refreshed by fans.
The menu offers a variety of egg dishes, with the Shakshuka being a standout, but other dishes are equally satisfying. Just follow your preferences, and you're unlikely to be disappointed. They have a special morning menu featuring eggs prepared in various ways with add-ons, pancakes, muesli, smoothie bowls, or fruit salad - 55,000 IDR.
The café often appears busy from the outside, but don't let that deter you - once inside, you can almost always find an available table.
Egg dishes: Shakshuka, Benedict, Quinoa and Avocado Breakfast - 68,000 IDR. Tofu scramble, chia pudding - 65,000 IDR, fruit bowl with yogurt - 60,000 IDR. Very tasty gluten-free brownie - 40,000 IDR. Coffee is a highlight of this place, as reflected in its name, starting from 35,000 IDR.

But here, you'll find a true atmosphere of enjoying life and food, of course.
You'll have to choose from a long list of breakfast bowls, classic big breakfast plates, avocado-based dishes, or vegetarian options. All items containing dairy products are marked accordingly. Most desserts are made with coconut cream and are labeled as dairy-free.
