Top 5 Cheap Breakfast Cafes in Canggu

One of my favorite places! It's Kopikota Padonan (we've been to Kopikota 1.0, but didn't like it there). It's not just for breakfast but throughout the day. They offer both European and Indonesian food. I recommend the chicken fillet with mushroom sauce, spaghetti with mushroom sauce, banoffee (banana coffee), and the big breakfast. Almost everything tastes delicious!

I love the atmosphere here - it's an open area, convenient for a quick bite or for a longer work session. There's a small play area for children. It's busier in the morning, quieter after lunch, and usually almost empty in the evening.

They serve great coffee and offer two breakfast options until 12:00 PM:

1) Choice of breakfast + drink,

2) Everything in option 1 + small glass of juice + fruit platter.

For an additional 5,000 rupees, you can add alternative milk or request a large coffee: they'll bring your coffee in a bigger cup.

If you're looking for delicious desserts for breakfast, head to Amore. They have cakes, cookies, and recently added some non-sweet breakfast options to the menu. Try the banana bread - I prefer the classic one (they also have chocolate). And they have the tastiest sourdough bread here! Everything is packaged in craft paper, and they offer to slice the bread right there. I prefer the coffee at Kopikota.

Prices:

Coffee - 28,000-35,000 rupees.

Desserts - 20,000-50,000 rupees.

Bread - 40,000-50,000 rupees.

A pleasant place indeed. Suitable for work, snacks, and gathering with a small group. Pet-friendly - you can bring your pets along. There are two rooms: a small one with air conditioning and another with fans and access to the pool; both are quite comfortable. Polite staff and quick service.

From the menu, not everything impressed me. However, I can definitely recommend the filet mignon, smoothie bowls, freshly squeezed juices, and Greek salad. I wouldn't recommend the pizza. The coffee is also not the best.

If you love coffee and prefer quiet, cozy places, you'll enjoy it here. You'll be surprised to find that there's no coffee machine in this café. Coffee is prepared manually, using sand. It's delicious! They also brew filter coffee. You have a choice of coffee beans from Sam's plantations, the owner of the café. Sam's daughter will be happy to tell you everything about coffee, from bean harvesting to roasting, and just have a chat. The staff is attentive and friendly.

I recommend trying the coffee, green juice (cucumber, kale, pineapple, and lime), and avocado toast with salmon.

Breakfast - 70,000 rupees.

Delicious breakfasts, I recommend trying the Scrambled Smoke, It’s Avo baby, and desserts. Good coffee. It's a small but cozy café with stylish design. It was quite convenient to work: plenty of power outlets, air conditioning, fast WiFi. It can get crowded during the day, but it was calm in the morning.
