Opening hours: 9:00 - 17:00
A small, family-run roadside café with a cosy atmosphere and a focus on vegetarian food. It serves gluten-free dishes and pure matcha without additives, which is fairly rare in Bali. The coffee is excellent too.
The care is evident from the moment you arrive: the friendly staff welcome guests, bring water straight away, explain which items are unavailable that day and genuinely ask whether everything was enjoyable.

The menu is compact but well thought out, with a main focus on sandwiches, burritos and burgers. For breakfast, you can choose avocado toast, eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, banana pancakes or one of two vegan options: a burrito or a big breakfast with tofu scramble.
Another advantage is the gluten-free pizza and pasta, which are not often found in Bali. The presentation is attractive, the food is prepared with care and love, and the flavours are memorable.

Even if you do not follow a healthy or vegetarian diet, this café is definitely worth visiting, if only for the good coffee, aromatic tea and crispy croissant.

The café is located by the road within the Rebels point guesthouse. It has been around for some time, but it is clean, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

Notable dishes on the main menu include burgers, chicken sauté, pelmeni and vareniki with potato.
There is a wide selection of juices, smoothies, tea and coffee. The spiced tea/coffee is particularly worth trying.
The downsides are slow service and the fact that some menu items are consistently unavailable.

Smoothie Shop

Opening hours: 8:00 - 16:00
Smoothie Shop is a stylish and genuinely cosy health-food café that makes you want to return for leisurely breakfasts, quality coffee and the atmosphere of a peaceful Balinese morning. The interior is bright and modern, while the menu is designed to offer something for every taste, from light smoothie bowls to filling breakfasts.
The menu offers a wide selection of dishes, including omelettes, sandwiches, porridge, bowls and desserts. For a substantial breakfast, try one of the porridges, either millet with pumpkin or oatmeal with quinoa and apple. The portions are truly generous. Those with a sweet tooth will enjoy the fresh carrot cake, while anyone missing home-style food should try the syrniki.
The café’s main pride is its drinks. As the name suggests, particular attention is given to smoothies and fresh juices. The ingredient combinations impress even those who have lived in Bali for a long time and tried dozens of health-food cafés. All drinks are made without additives, using only fresh fruit and vegetables.
The café also has an excellent selection of teas: Moroccan tea, Ayurvedic tea with ginger and spices, lemongrass tea with ginger, and Turkish tea with apple and cinnamon. Healthy desserts and snacks are available to accompany your tea.
The coffee menu also deserves special attention. Coffee is taken seriously here, with a good selection of beans, careful preparation and a genuinely rich flavour. Try the lavender raf, drinks with honey or spices, or a matcha latte made with Japanese green tea.
