The Weeknd, the Canadian singer behind hits like Blinding Lights, Starboy and Save Your Tears, and one of today’s most popular pop and R&B artists, has announced the Asian leg of his After Hours Til Dawn world tour.

One of the stops will be Jakarta, with shows on 26 and 27 September at Jakarta International Stadium. For those living in or holidaying in Bali, this is a great and rare chance to catch a major stadium show by an artist of this level without long-haul flights to Europe or the US.
The After Hours Til Dawn tour is one of the biggest stadium tours of recent years. The Asian leg includes Tokyo, Jakarta, Singapore, Seoul, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur, with Indonesia among the first stops after Japan.
Official ticket sales opened on 21 May. Tickets can be bought on Tiket.com. It’s best not to put it off for too long: concerts like this usually sell out within a couple of days.
There are plenty of daily flights from Denpasar to Jakarta, and the flight itself takes around two hours. So you can easily turn the trip into a short weekend getaway: fly to Jakarta, go to the concert, and spend a couple of days in Indonesia’s capital.
This is especially convenient for anyone who wanted a break from Bali but wasn’t planning a full trip. You’ll be surprised how many attractions the city has.
