Southeast Asia’s Largest Apple Store Opens in Bali

Just in time for the New Year holidays, Imaginaria — the new flagship store of the Indonesian Digimap network — has opened in Bali. It is the largest Apple Premium Partner Store in Southeast Asia. The two-story store covers an area of 3,300 square meters on Sunset Road in Kuta.
Imaginaria was conceived not as an ordinary shopping center but as an art space inspired by Balinese culture, to merge technology and tradition. Visitors not only choose devices but also explore the stories and concepts embedded in the design as they walk through the floors.
The project features a collaboration with two Indonesian artists — Monez and Muklay. Their works are showcased through Apple devices: screens, projections, and installations. A stone sculpture is placed at the center of the pavilion, referencing Rwa Bhineda philosophy — the Balinese concept of harmony of opposites.

For the opening, branded merchandise was prepared with the tagline "From Bali, for the Curious Mind": T-shirts, bags, AirPods cases, and fridge magnets. Digimap emphasizes that Imaginaria is currently the only store in the network designed in such a cultural-technological format. It's clear that they took a particularly serious approach to launching the Bali branch.
There is still no official Apple Store in Indonesia, but premium retailers are striving to fill this "gap" with service and atmosphere. Meanwhile, Apple is focusing on production and training. A developer academy recently opened in Bali, where students from all over the world study.
