It's not just an exciting activity for spectators and players, but also a complex process that combines physical efforts and analytical intellectual abilities, where one needs to calculate numerous conditions literally within a few seconds. It turns out that there are quite a few fans and enthusiasts of tennis in Bali, which means that courts are present in every tourist area.
Below are clubs and individual courts open to the public. Coaching services are available in many places.

Finns Tennis

A multifunctional complex in the Berawa Beach area offers a wide range of sports activities, including tennis. Two fully covered courts in excellent condition are serviced by attentive and well-trained staff. The court with a soft surface has received positive feedback from visitors. The cost is reasonable: renting a court for an hour, including two rackets and six balls, will cost you 300,000 IDR. An hourly session with a coach ranges from 450,000 to 650,000 IDR depending on the level. Guests can also join group morning classes, with prices ranging from 110,000 to 160,000 IDR depending on the level of preparation, and rackets and balls are not included in the lesson price. Renting a racket is 50,000 IDR per hour, and six balls are 40,000 IDR.

LIGA.TENNIS

Locations: Umalas, Nusa Dua, Sanur
This is a tennis club located in several areas of the island: Umalas, Sanur, and Nusa Dua. Here, you can play tennis, paddle tennis, and squash, and after your training, you can relax by the pool or in the gym.
They have multiple courts with soft surfaces. In total, there are six courts in Umalas and five in Sanur for regular tennis, as well as three indoor and three outdoor courts in Nusa Dua.
The club offers coaching, court and equipment rentals, and group lessons for adults and juniors. For booking, purchasing memberships, and finding playing partners, there is the Liga.Tennis app, which provides all the up-to-date information.
You can expect the following prices: open court rental in the morning (from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM) - 170,000 IDR, after 4:00 PM - 225,000 IDR; indoor courts - 250,000 and 280,000 IDR, respectively. Individual coaching sessions cost 390,000 IDR, and group classes are priced at 170,000 IDR. You can also rent towels for 45,000 IDR and rackets for 85,000 IDR.

Maya Resort Ubud

This luxury resort complex has one tennis court available for all visitors. It's advisable to book it in advance since there's no online schedule check, and the court is quite frequently used.
The rental cost for one hour with rackets and balls is 255,000 IDR, and you will also receive towels and water. The court is open-air.

Bali Clay Tennis Court

An open tennis court with showers and refreshments in Seminyak. This court is not affiliated with a sports complex or hotel, so don't expect a large staff presence. Visitors have access to refreshments, showers, and a restroom. You'll need to bring your own towels and other shower essentials.
Rental and the current schedule are available on the website or by calling the owner. The price for 55 minutes of play from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM is 150,000 IDR, and from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, it's 200,000 IDR. Sundays are less in demand, so the cost is 50,000 IDR lower.
You can also purchase a 10-hour playing pass for 1,800,000 IDR.

Le Grande Bali

A residential complex in Uluwatu with excellent sports facilities, including an outdoor tennis court.
For booking, you can visit the website to check available rental days. The cost of the court with rackets, balls, and towels per hour ranges from 175,000 to 250,000 IDR depending on the time and day of the week.
The complex opens at eight in the morning, and the court is available for play from that time. If you require a coach, this service is also available, and you can inquire about the cost when booking the court.

Tugu Tennis Court

A new private court in Canggu, available for booking. The court is open-air with a soft surface. It was initiated by a tennis enthusiast and meets all the standard requirements.
There are no WhatsApp contact numbers available, so you'll need to visit and inquire about the possibility and conditions of rental for your preferred day and time. The cost varies depending on the time, starting at 150,000 IDR, as in other places.

Island Padel Uluwatu

New indoor padel courts in Uluwatu. Padel is a mix of squash and tennis with its own set of rules, court dimensions, and rackets.
This sports club has grown rapidly, and now residents of Bukit have the opportunity to use five indoor courts for playing, attend group classes, or take private lessons with a coach. These courts are not suitable for traditional tennis, but if you've been curious about trying something similar, padel is a good choice.
Novices can join a group basic class where the coach explains all the rules and practices. Such a class costs 150,000 IDR, including racket rental. Group classes with a coach and a maximum of six students will cost 300,000 IDR.
Renting a court for 60 minutes costs 520,000 IDR, or 400,000 IDR with a KITAS. For 90 minutes, the price is 780,000 IDR.
Group classes cover various directions: basic classes on Mondays at 9:00 AM and Thursdays at 4:00 PM, women's group training on Tuesdays from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM - 150,000 IDR, cardio-padel on Thursdays at 9:00 AM - 125,000 IDR, and mixed-level player training on Saturdays at 3:00 PM - 250,000 IDR.
Visitors can also enjoy restroom facilities with showers, lockers, and a fitness bar.

Indo Padel

A club for playing padel with a covered court and excellent surface, a worthy place for players of any level. It's located in the Denpasar area.
There are many courts here, and tournaments are held regularly, which you can pre-register for. Among the services offered are court rentals, coaching sessions for beginners and children, and group lessons. Court bookings and coaching services for private groups and individual sessions are also available.
The owners have created an app for court rentals, booking lessons, and tournaments for both iOS and Android, which can be downloaded from the website.
Visitors speak highly of the service quality at the complex and the court surfaces. It's worth mentioning that there are Russian-speaking coaches available.
Various tournaments are hosted here for players of different levels, including free ones. You can find playing partners and book courts through the app.
Renting a court for 1 hour costs 200,000 IDR, for 90 minutes it's 300,000 IDR, and racket rental is 40,000 IDR.
Individual coaching for beginner-level players with an instructor costs 500,000 IDR. For a group of 2 to 4 people, it's 200,000 IDR each. If the group has 8 to 12 people, the coach fee is 100,000 IDR per person.
If your level of play is considered advanced, the prices are different.
Individual coaching with a trainer is 700,000 IDR. A group of 2 to 4 people costs 250,000 IDR each. Group sessions for 8 to 12 people are 150,000 IDR per person.

Jungle Padel Club

As you drive along one of the shortcuts in Canggu, you can spot indoor courts almost constantly occupied by active players. At first glance, it might remind you of tennis, but these are actually courts for padel.
The club has been built and organized according to all standards and norms, with good court surfaces and transparent panoramic windows. The club is still in the process of improvement; a month ago, the parking area was not yet completed, but these are temporary inconveniences. The courts themselves are fully ready and actively welcoming visitors.
Within the club's premises, there are changing rooms, showers with restrooms, a café, and a shop.
The prices are reasonable: renting a court for one hour costs 130,000 IDR, and for 90 minutes, it's 190,000 IDR. For KITAS holders, the cost is lower: 110,000 IDR and 160,000 IDR, respectively. Renting a racket with balls included is 40,000 IDR.
The cost of an individual coaching session doesn't differ significantly from other clubs, at 400,000 IDR. A session for two with a coach is 700,000 IDR, for a group of 3 people - 900,000 IDR, and a session for 4 people is 1,200,000 IDR.
Apart from one-time sessions, they offer membership packages with certain benefits. For example, when you pay 2,500,000 IDR for a membership, you receive a card worth 2,750,000 IDR.
Coaching sessions are available for both adults and children.
Currently, there are no scheduled group sessions in the club.
