The water at Sawangan Beach boasts a beautiful azure hue. It’s great for swimming, but be cautious of strong currents and occasional waves. The beach is relatively unaffected by tides, making it a reliable spot for a swim.

The sand is light beige and soft, providing a comfortable surface for lounging.

During storms, seaweed may be washed ashore, which can make swimming challenging. On calm days, the beach is clean and swimming conditions are generally favorable.

Parking costs IDR 2,000 for motorbikes and IDR 5,000 for cars. The upper parking lot is paved, while the lower lot consists of rocks and grass. For convenience, it's best to park in a way that ensures an easy exit, or use the upper lot to avoid getting stuck behind parked cars.

A small shop near the beach sells drinking water, but there are no cafes or restaurants on-site.

The beach is close to the Hilton Hotel and within walking distance of Samabe Beach.
