This waterfall is purely Instagrammable! It features natural pools where you can lounge with a view of the jungle. It's one of the few waterfalls where you climb up instead of down. Once warmed up, you can enjoy a refreshing splash and take some great photos.
There is a small restaurant at the top. Prices are moderate, and the view is stunning.
A dish and a drink will cost around 70-100k. The cuisine is simple. Be careful at the waterfall, as you'll need to move over slippery stones.
Next, we head to the museum 📍 Samsara Living Museum.
On the way, you can stop at 📍 BaliSideman Ricefield Viewpoint or 📍 Sibetan Rice Terrace.
Rice terraces with mountain views. You can enjoy Balinese coffee on-site for 15k.
The museum itself is a large open area with several buildings. A guide will take you to all the main points and explain the ceremonies from birth to death in Bali, show musical instruments, arak production, jewelry, etc. The tour is in English. You can also sign up for cooking, dancing, and other workshops here.
After the museum, we head to a site on the hill 📍 Bukit Surga.
Here you have a great view of the jungle and ocean. There is a large area for setting up tents and holding barbecue parties. You can rent a tent on-site from 175k for two people. In cloudy weather, the place looks very mystical! You are literally in the cloud, feeling fresh, cool air, and enjoying the sounds of nature.
And the last stop on the route 📍 Air Terjun Jagasatru.
A waterfall with a large golden statue of Brahma. The waterfall itself is modest in scale but tall. There are bathing facilities on the premises. Entry is only allowed in a sarong, which you should bring with you. There is a changing area. A small warung is available at the parking lot. The road to the point is not in very good condition.
Be careful and check your brakes!
Have a great trip!
