Munduk is one of Bali's most scenic mountain areas, known for its coffee plantations, waterfalls and cool climate.

The area offers fresh mountain air, green hills and plenty of small roads winding through forests and villages. You can explore it on foot or by car, or behind the wheel of a buggy on the “On the Trail of the Luwak” expedition.
The trip uses Fin Komodo buggies: compact, Indonesian-made two-seat off-road vehicles designed for rough terrain. The route follows dirt roads through the Kayu Pandak hills, Devil's Rock and local plantations. Along the way you'll encounter steep climbs, muddy stretches and open spots with views over the mountain valleys.

One of the stops is the Green Track, where you can test yourself on the mud tracks or ride a bicycle among the plantations. The expedition also introduces you to local traditions of growing and preparing coffee, which this part of Bali is famous for.
The route then passes through the village of Bengkel and its rice terraces. Here you can stroll through the fields, take in the rural scenery and continue on to a waterfall tucked away in tropical vegetation. Time is set aside at the waterfall for swimming and relaxing.

In a single day, you'll visit several scenic spots in Munduk, get to know the local coffee culture and test yourself on off-road trails. Thanks to the mountain climate, the trip takes place in cooler conditions than on Bali's south coast.
