🔹 Who can obtain a retirement KITAS?
✅ Citizens aged 55 and older.
✅ If one of the spouses is younger than 55, a dependent visa can be issued.
🔹 What documents are needed?
Everything is okay, but the document list on the website is simplified.
Documents for New KITAS:
• Original passport (at least 18 months before expiry);
• Marriage or divorce certificate;
• Address in Bali + 1-year rental agreement in Bali (monthly rent not less than 500 USD);
• Copy of the landlord's ID;
• Copies of IDs of 2 Balinese individuals (for contacts);
• Life insurance for at least 1 year;
• Bank statement with a minimum balance of $2000 or equivalent and transaction history for the last 3 months;
• Bank statement confirming monthly income of $3000 or equivalent for the last 3 months;
🔹 Visa validity period
The visa is issued for 1 year, with the possibility of extending up to 5 years.
After 5 years, you can apply for a KITAP (permanent residency).
🔹 Processing cost
16,000,000 IDR – complete service package, including document processing and an annual unlimited exit permit (mandatory condition).
