The 15 thousand-square-metre site among pine trees and mangroves will host more than 150 participants and over 250 brands. The festival will be open from noon until ten in the evening.
This year’s theme is Nature Weave, exploring the relationship between people, design and natural systems. The programme includes Architecture in Scale, an exhibition of architectural models featuring works by Kengo Kuma and Bill Bensley; a section for young designers; Waste to Wonder 2.0, a project about circular design; and a series of 360° Design Dialogues.
A separate area will host The Intelligence of Surfaces, an immersive exhibition by Singaporean company Lamitak, created in collaboration with Bali-based DDAP Architect. It demonstrates how finishing materials are cut, installed and processed, and includes an interactive visualiser showing how a surface looks in an interior.
Tickets are available for one day or all five days. Early-bird pricing applies until 12 August, and children under 12 can enter free of charge. There are cafés at the venue, and pets are allowed.
