Ngurah Rai International Airport launched the thematic program "Balinese Mythology" at the end of October. It runs from October 25 to November 25, 2025, transforming the terminals into a space where local legends come to life.

The halls feature installations and decor inspired by Balinese culture and Halloween. One of the central figures is Bedawang Nala (Penyangga Dunia), a mythical giant turtle that "holds" the Earth, reminding us of the balance and harmony in nature and humans.
During the month, passengers are introduced to stories inspired by Balinese legends: the journey begins even before boarding. The highlight of the program on October 31 included face painting, tarot corners, and performances with elements of traditional dances — from mystical to festive.

The airport's general director Ahmad Syaugi Shahab noted: such initiatives aim to make the waiting time not only convenient but also memorable. "We want to give passengers a unique experience, turning the wait into an inspiring cultural journey," he said.
Ngurah Rai Airport, which welcomes thousands of tourists daily, strives to be more than just a "gateway to the island" but a living reflection of the spirit of Bali — with its stories, beauty, and respect for traditions.
