Badung Police Chief I Gusti Agung Ketut Suryanegara reported that the troublemaker was apprehended by restaurant staff before the authorities arrived. The man became furious upon seeing the bill and damaged several items in the establishment. Concerned about his behavior, the staff immediately called the police.
The tourist allegedly ran out of money during his stay in Bali. Despite this, he still decided to dine at the restaurant. His subsequent actions, when he caused a scene, only worsened the situation.
According to Suryanegara, after South Kuta police took him into custody, D.G. was handed over to Ngurah Rai Immigration for further investigation. It was recommended that he be deported as his actions violated Badung Regency Regulation No. 7/2016 on maintaining public order.
Almost every similar incident ends with the deportation of the troublemaker. So, in case of disputes, try to keep your composure, avoid causing a scene, and certainly refrain from damaging anyone's property. In this country's culture, even the most unpleasant issues are expected to be resolved in a calm and friendly manner.
