In Badung, authorities demolished a concrete foundation that had been started near Seseh Beach in Cemagi village, Mengwi district. The structure stood on land owned by the regency administration.

The site is on the coast next to Pura Keramat temple and right by the beach. A restaurant called Seseh Beach Cafe was planned there. It was also reported that the building could have been used as a lookout post for the beach area.
Heavy machinery was brought in. The public order agency said they decided to stop the construction at an early stage, before the project grew larger.
Before the demolition, officials checked the site through Badung’s asset management department. The authorities also issued a warning.
The developer was first asked to remove the structure themselves. There were no objections, but due to a lack of funds, the demolition was ultimately carried out by the municipal service.
Badung’s administration has not yet decided how the site will be used. For now, workers are clearing away the remaining concrete and levelling the area after the demolition.
