A Bali parliamentary commission has inspected Bali Beach Glamping in Tabanan. The deputies suspect that part of the complex was built too close to the shore and that the road to a local temple has become narrower.

The oceanfront pool has raised the most questions. The commission believes it may be located within the coastal protection zone, where construction is restricted. The restaurant and other buildings in the complex will also be checked. The authorities have requested the permits and land documents.
Another issue is the road to Pura Luhur Dalem Perang temple. Local residents use it during ceremonies and to carry offerings. The commission believes the road may have become too narrow because of the development.
A traditional Balinese cemetery is located nearby. The authorities will therefore also check whether building regulations near sacred sites have been followed.
In Bali, it is forbidden to block access to the beach or interfere with religious ceremonies. If the violations are confirmed, the owners may be required to remove some of the buildings and clear the access route.
