Another Street Fight in Bali Goes Viral

Yet another fight video from Bali has gone viral online. This time, the tourist hotspot of Legian became the scene of a fistfight. Unlike the previous high-profile incident near Finns Club, this time, no Indonesians were involved—the tourists handled it themselves.
In the comments section, opinions vary. Some suggest letting the troublemakers cool off in jail before deportation, while others call for stricter measures to protect Bali from such tourists. Overall, local residents’ reactions have been overwhelmingly negative—and understandably so. After all, in Bali, street fights are still considered completely unacceptable. The worst consequence for offenders? Being sent home a few days early. Meanwhile, in most other countries, such offenses—especially if they result in bodily harm—could lead to serious jail time.
In this particular case, the cause of the conflict remains unknown. The nationalities of the fighters have not been identified, but no Russian speech or time-related arguments can be heard in the video. The footage shows two individuals provoking each other until they finally get into a physical altercation. It’s almost certain that neither of them was completely sober.

What started as a one-on-one fight quickly escalated into a group assault when friends of one participant jumped in to continue beating the man who was already on the ground. Fortunately, bystanders intervened and stopped the brutal attack.
Kuta Police Chief Agus Rivayanto Diputra has declined to speculate on the situation. He stated that no official complaints have been filed yet, but an investigation will still be conducted.
