Probably the most remote surf spot in Bali.
It's another 30-minute drive from Balian.
On the outside, there is a good, calm, very long left wave.
From there, you can actually ride probably the longest wave in Bali.
It's better to take a bigger board there.
On the inside, the wave is sharper, good for a shortboard, and also a left wave.
The ideal tide is medium to high.
At low tide it can be dangerous because of the rocks.
There are locals.
A swell of at least 4-5 feet is desirable.
The entry and exit are hazardous due to rocks in the water.
If it's your first time, be sure to ask where to enter and exit correctly or observe.
It's good to come to Balian and Medewi for a couple of days, surfing twice a day when conditions are right.
It takes about 2 hours to get to Medewi from Kuta.
