For vehicle owners in Bali⬇️
The Bali Provincial Tax Agency has launched a transport tax relief program that includes waiving penalties for overdue vehicle taxes and fees for ownership transfers. The program runs from November 1 to December 20, 2024.
This initiative is a gesture of appreciation to Bali residents who took advantage of similar benefits last September. The program is aimed at those with outstanding transport taxes.
As of October 2024, 214,000 vehicles in Bali have tax debts: 82% are two-wheeled vehicles, and 18% are four-wheeled. For convenience, the deadline for ownership transfer and vehicle registration has been extended both within and outside the province. During road inspections, police will notify drivers of their debts and provide information.
☝️There will be no more reliefs in 2025, so the program aims to reduce the number of vehicles with debts and raise awareness about the importance of timely tax payments.
