A video of yet another speedboat incident in Bali is gaining popularity on social media. The footage shows the boat almost lying on its side and rapidly sinking. Dozens of passengers try to stay on deck: some jump overboard voluntarily, while others fall into the water. Another boat rushes to the sinking vessel to rescue people.

The incident occurred with The Tanis vessel, heading towards Sanur. Shortly after departing from Mushroom Bay port at Nusa Lembongan, about 30 meters from the shore, the boat was hit by several strong waves. Water entered, the vessel lost stability, and panic on board led to a significant tilt and flooding.
Fortunately, the incident occurred close to the shore. All passengers were safely evacuated by 6:30 PM local time. However, some luggage was lost.
At the time of the incident, there were 89 people on board, 77 of whom were foreigners. The vessel was designed to carry 125 passengers and had been in operation for only about three months. Preliminary reports indicate it was in good technical condition.
Klungkung district police representative Agus Widiyono confirmed that all passengers and crew members were rescued:
"We engaged divers to ensure there were no casualties on the boat or the seabed. Currently, two foreign passengers have already left for Sanur port, while the others remain on Nusa Lembongan," he concluded.
