Depending on the denomination, small-denomination dollars may be exchanged at a reduced rate.

Also, there may be issues with dollars from the years 1996, 1999, 2001, 2003 - all series. And 2006 series H when exchanging.

If you encounter issues exchanging dollars from these years, contact major network exchange offices like Central Kuta Money Exchange with their distinctive blue-red logo easily found in Bali.

Alternatively, try exchanging the notes at a bank branch. To locate a bank, use a search on Google Maps using the keyword "Bank."

Dollars from the 2003 series with serials DB 400, DB 061, and DH14 are not accepted for exchange in Indonesia.
