Pandawa Beach

Atmosphere and entourage
Nice beautiful beach. The beach is named after the five Pandava brothers (Yudhistira, Bima, Arjuna, Nakula and Sadewa) from the Indian epic Mahabharata. There are statues of these brothers carved into the rocks right on the beach. An interesting feature of the beach is the driveway carved into the limestone. It’s beautiful, there is somewhere to walk and something to see. Beautiful descent to the beach.
Water
On the right side of the beach there is good, safe swimming in high water; the beach is protected from waves by a reef. There is a dangerous channel on the left side of the beach. You can't swim there! Split shells and pebbles dig into my feet. It is advisable to wear light safety shoes when entering the water. With beautiful corals and a lot of fish. All this can be seen in the calm, when the waves are not big.
The strength and size of the waves are very dependent on the tides. Smooth entry into the water.
Sand
Light beige, soft
Weather and tides
The ebb and flow of the tides are quite pronounced. During low tides, kayaks are rented to navigate the shallow waters. At low tide there is a strong smell of algae.
Purity
There is garbage and algae.
Visitors
Buses with tourists arrive every 15 minutes; you can’t swim much because of kayakers who can simply crash into you. The main thing is not to come here on weekends or holidays. After 15 o'clock in the afternoon there are very, very, very many tourists. Then immediately +200 people are on the beach, they don’t swim, but for some reason they take selfies against the backdrop of the sea and go back.
Infrastructure
There are sunbeds and warungs. There are a lot of cafes with local cuisine, sun loungers and souvenirs. Near the toilet there are booths with fresh water, you can rinse off after the ocean.
You can come here by online taxi. But you won’t be able to leave here with it. Local taxi drivers do not allow Grab and Go Jack. Cell phone reception on the beach is poor.
Nearby
To the west the next big beach is Melasti. You can go east at low tide to Gunung Payung Beach.
