Nyang Nyang Beach is a tranquil,
hidden gem, often referred to as a secret beach due to its challenging access
and the fact that swimming isn’t advisable.
Together with the adjacent
Nunggalan Beach to the east, it’s often collectively known as Nyang Nyang.
This beach is ideal for
paragliding enthusiasts. While soaring above, you’ll be treated to stunning
views, including peaceful herds of cows grazing on the upper terrace.
Swimming here isn’t great as
the reefs start right at the shoreline. Though the seabed is rocky and shallow,
even at high tide, you can still enjoy a refreshing dip in the water.
The area is best suited for
"dry snorkelling," with reefs teeming with marine life, including
numerous starfish.
Note that Nyang Nyang Beach
doesn’t offer views of the sunrise or sunset.
