The ascent starts from the village with the almost identical name, Abang Sengan, accessible via a mountain serpentine road.
At the foot of Abang, there is a temple with parking for vehicles. To access the temple, where the ascent begins, you need to pay a fee to the guard. We were asked for 15k per person.
The ascent follows a trail through the forest, which is quite challenging due to steep inclines. The ascent takes approximately 3 to 4 hours, while the descent takes 1.5 to 2 hours.
