Active preparations for MotoGP Mandalika have begun in Lombok. The first participants to arrive at Lombok International Airport were Francesco Bagnaia, Enea Bastianini, Marco Bezzecchi, Jack Miller, and Raul Fernandez, who were immediately spotted by photographers.

The Indonesian Grand Prix at the Mandalika circuit will take place from October 3 to 5. Tomorrow will see the official opening and press conferences, October 4 will be for qualification, and the main races will be on October 5. In the MotoGP class, the racers will complete 27 laps covering a total distance of about 116 kilometers. The track length is 4.3 km and includes 17 turns of varying complexity.

MotoGP is considered the world's premier championship in circuit motorcycle racing. It features the best pilots on specially designed motorcycle prototypes that are not sold in series production and are created exclusively for racing. The season includes over 20 stages across different continents, with Indonesia hosting one of the most spectacular and anticipated tours.
The current championship leader is Marc Marquez, who confidently leads ahead of his brother Alex.
On October 1, there will be a racer parade in Mataram: the column will go from Taman Sangkareang to Udayana Street. This is one of the main accompanying events before the start of the race.
For the convenience of spectators arriving from Bali by sea, a temporary floating pier has been built on Kuta Beach in Lombok. It will serve as an entrance for boats and speedboats, which should ease the load on the island's roads and transport system during the event.
