LovFest 2025 took place in Lovina from July 24th to 27th. For four days, the northern resort transformed into a large stage where Balinese traditions, contemporary art, and gastronomy came together.
The festival opened with the Panyembrama dance: 612 artists from the local administration danced synchronously on the beaches of Binaria and Tasik-Madu, setting a festive rhythm and demonstrating the community's unity.

The program included dozens of performances — from classical Balinese dances to modern performances, northern Bali street food, craft markets, art installations, and evening concerts.
This year, LovFest was included in the Karisma Event Nusantara 2025 calendar as one of the top 110 events in the country, selected from 3,600 nominees.

Organizers highlight that the festival promotes northern Bali tourism. Indonesia's Ministry of Tourism expects 3,000 trillion Rupiah in revenue from foreign visitors in 2025. Most will come from Bali — 6 million tourists from the planned 14 million, followed by Jakarta (3.5 million) and Bintan Island near Singapore (1 million).

To support this growth, a direct flight from Taipei to Banyuwangi is planned for 2026. It will be part of the B3 tourist package (Banyuwangi — West Bali — Buleleng) and, according to the Buleleng regent, is expected to bring at least 10,000 guests from China and Taiwan to northern Bali.
