A trial route is scheduled to open in 2027, with a budget of around 8 billion rupiah.
The red Trans Metro Dewata buses already depart from there. People will be able to leave their own vehicles at the same car park and take the new line to the ocean. A contracted operator will carry the passengers, and the authorities will pay it for the service. Stops and fares have not been announced yet.

The shuttles are part of a plan to upgrade Kuta. The pavement along Jalan Pantai Kuta on the hotel side is already being widened to 3.5 metres, and the first section is due to be finished in December.
Cars and motorbikes parked along the roadside are to be moved to a car park on the site of the former Bali Anggrek hotel, which is expected to open by New Year's Eve.
