Motorbike on Bali Isn’t a Luxury — It’s a Necessity.
But with this freedom comes responsibility.
Every season, hundreds of tourists end up in hospitals due to falls and accidents — often simply because they lack experience or make typical “first-day mistakes”.

At BaliMotion.Pro, we’ve been renting motorbikes for many years and see this pattern clearly. That’s why we’re launching a new free introductory riding session for our customers.
This isn’t a “check-the-box” lesson.
It’s 1.5–2 hours of practical training that can help you avoid falls, minor injuries, and a spoiled holiday.
What’s Included in the Intro Session
Training takes place on the bike you rent from us.
1. Controls overview
• what each button and lever does;
• how to use brakes, throttle, side stand, and other basics.
2. Starting the bike
• how to start it correctly;
• how to move off safely.
3. Four basic exercises on a practice area
A simple set of drills that help you feel the bike and your balance.
Duration: approximately 1.5–2 hours.
⚠️ Important: training is available only for BaliMotion.Pro customers. The rental starts after signing the agreement and making the payment.
Language & Teaching Format
The instructor is Indonesian.
• Main language: English.
When & Where the Training Takes Place
Standard start time:
• 15:30 — the most comfortable temperature.
Optional (on request):
• 10:00 — if you’re fine with direct sun.
Location:
• Ideally at your villa/hotel if there’s enough open space;
• Otherwise, you and the instructor move to a nearby safe area (quiet road or empty lot).
All details are arranged with our manager during booking.
What the Training Provides (and What It Doesn’t)
We prefer to be very clear.
This session will not make you a professional rider in two hours.
Your progress depends on:
- your initial skill level;
- your ability to follow instructions;
- your confidence;
- and how much additional practice you get afterward.
Some people feel comfortable after an hour. Others need several days.
But the session WILL help you:
- avoid the most common beginner mistakes;
- reduce the risk of simple “tip-over” falls;
- understand how the bike behaves;
- feel calmer and more confident on Bali roads.
Who Benefits the Most
Our free introductory session is especially helpful for:
• those who have never ridden a motorbike before;
• those with very minimal experience (a few rides and that’s it);
• those who rode long ago and feel unsure now;
• experienced drivers of cars who are new to two-wheelers.
Car drivers often underestimate how different a bike feels and how specific Bali traffic is. This training helps re-adjust habits and look at the road differently.
Safety & Responsibility
We do everything we can to make the session safe.
We provide protective gear:
• helmet,
• gloves,
• elbow pads,
• knee pads.
You will need:
• closed shoes (no flip-flops or sandals),
• clothing that covers your shoulders,
• drinking water (important under the sun).
By joining the training, you confirm that:
• you understand the risks of riding a motorbike;
• you are aware that even when following all instructions, falls or injuries may still happen;
• you agree that the company is not responsible for any injuries or damages during the training or future riding.
We provide knowledge, practice, and guidance — but control of the bike is always your responsibility.
