Emirates Doubles Down on Bali: More Flights, More Adventures!

The world's largest commercial airliner will soon be flying to Bali twice as often. We're talking about the Airbus A380 operated by Emirates, a double-decker aircraft that first flew from Dubai to Bali relatively recently, in 2023. As demand on this route continues to grow, the airline is increasing the number of flights. Previously, it operated one flight per day, and in the first 100 days of service, EK398/399 between Bali and Dubai transported over 100,000 passengers.
This was announced in September 2023 by Bali Airport's CEO, Handy Herijudhitawan. The aircraft's load factor was at 98% at that time, and this trend has continued over the past year.
From September 1 to October 26, 2024, Emirates EK398/399 flights between Bali and Dubai will operate twice daily, and if the planes maintain high occupancy, this change is expected to become permanent.
With the increase in flights, the total number of passengers transported by the aircraft per day will reach 2,600 people.
As one of the world's leading airlines, Emirates flies to more than 144 destinations across six continents, and in addition to Bali, it offers two daily flights to Jakarta from Dubai. Besides the UAE carrier, South Korean airlines are also preparing to increase flights to the Island of the Gods, with a new direct route soon to be launched between one of Korea's major transportation hubs, Incheon, and Denpasar. This flight will operate seven times a week and is designed to carry 180 passengers per trip.
