The Indonesian Ministry of Public Works has allocated 1.549 trillion rupiah for priority infrastructure projects in Bali. The decision followed open criticism from Governor Wayan Koster, who previously stated the unfair distribution of the state budget between regions.

The funded projects include:
- New Singaraja – Mengwi Road.
Cost: Rp 773 billion.
The construction of the 'short' road between the north and south of the island will be divided into two phases: Rp 500 billion is planned in the 2025 budget, and another Rp 273 billion in 2026. - Parking complex at Pura Batur Temple.
Cost: Rp 250 billion.
Work is planned to begin in 2026. The parking lot should ease traffic during major ceremonies, including Ngusaba Purnama Kedasa. - Tunnel in Jimbaran (Badung).
Cost: Rp 354 billion.
Construction is planned for 2026. The project aims to reduce traffic congestion on one of southern Bali's busiest road routes. - Bridge between Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Lembongan.
Cost: Rp 112 billion.
The new bridge, planned for construction in 2026, will improve transportation connectivity within the Nusa archipelago (Penida, Lembongan, Ceningan) and enhance the safety of movement between islands. - Reservoir on the Tukad Unda River (Klungkung).
Cost: Rp 60 billion.
The facility will ensure stable water supply for Bali's cultural center and surrounding areas. Work is also planned for 2026.
Koster expressed gratitude to the government and emphasized that the development is aimed at improving Bali's tourism infrastructure and competitiveness on the international stage. According to the governor, the projects should be completed by 2028 or, at the latest, by 2029. Funding will begin in 2025, with the active construction phase planned for 2026.
