The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series (high dives from great heights with complex acrobatics) will kick off in Indonesia in 2026: the first round of the season is scheduled for 20–23 May and will take place in Bali. It will be the country’s debut as a World Series host.

The organisers are preparing two venues. The opening rounds are planned near Kroya Waterfall in Buleleng Regency, and the final dives will be from the T-Rex cliff at Kelingking Beach on Nusa Penida Island.
The Bali round will open the battle for the King Kahekili trophy, the season’s main prize. The name refers to the history of cliff diving in Hawaii: Red Bull materials link the trophy to the Hawaiian chief Kahekili, who, according to legend, jumped from sacred cliffs in the 18th century.
A field of 24 athletes (men and women) from different countries is expected in Bali; among those mentioned are Rhiannan Iffland, Gary Hunt and Konstantin Popovich.
The heights in the series are standard: men dive from a 27-metre platform, women from 21 metres. Entry speed is around 85 km/h.
