Bali is preparing for the Patuh Agung 2026 traffic operation. It will run from 8 to 21 June across the province.

Preparations were held on 4 June in Denpasar. Bali Police said that this year the focus will be on electronic recording of traffic violations using ETLE systems. Fixed cameras and mobile devices used by traffic police will be deployed.
The operation will cover tourist areas and the island’s main roads. Police hope to reduce the number of violations, accidents and traffic jams in areas where traffic is particularly heavy.
Police will pay special attention to vehicles with number plates that are difficult for cameras to read: removed, covered, altered, taped over or repainted. The list of priority offences also includes driving against the flow of traffic, running red lights, ignoring signs and road markings, riding without a helmet, not wearing a seat belt, using a phone while driving, speeding and overloading.
In Badung, which includes Kuta, Canggu, Seminyak, Jimbaran and Nusa Dua, police also carried out preparations for the operation. Officers separately reminded drivers about vehicle documents, helmets and seat belts. If you have not yet obtained a local driving licence, the agency Legal Indonesia can help with this.
