Air India (formerly Tata Airlines), India’s national carrier, has taken over the air routes previously operated by Vistara. Now, daily flights between Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi (DEL) and Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport (DPS) in Denpasar will be operated by Air India.
The Air India flight will depart daily from New Delhi at 10:40 PM, landing on the Island of the Gods at 8:20 AM the following morning. The return flight departs from Bali at 10:35 AM.
Air India will use Boeing B787-8 Dreamliners, large and comfortable wide-body aircraft. These planes offer enhanced passenger comfort with higher ceilings, larger electronically dimmable windows, higher cabin pressure, and improved humidity, which help reduce passenger fatigue. In Indonesia, JAS Aero Engineering Services, a leading and trusted provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services with over 20 years of experience, will handle the maintenance of these aircraft.
Currently, Air India serves over 80 destinations worldwide, including key cities in Asia, Europe, North America, and Australia. Its main hub is at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, with additional hubs in Mumbai and Bangalore. The company is focused on reclaiming its status as a leading global airline by investing in fleet upgrades, improving services, and expanding its route network.
