The Inner Rivers is an exploration of the body focusing on clearing out the lymphatic system and freeing up space in our joints with an intelligent mobility routine. We will go through a full body joint mobility routine to increase range of motion, decrease pain and discomfort, and build up strength and stability through safe and sustainable movement. The lymphatic sequence is a great daily routine to maintain good internal lymph and blood flow. With soft and subtle touch we can increase the intelligence beneath our skin, if we see the lymphatic system as rivers, we are touching upon the dams to find more space for these rivers to flow. These practical sequences are very simple and can be done regularly to create more space for movement, breath, and freedom within.
We will also explore internal strength and resistance training to improve relaxation of the nervous system and fascia through some very clever core exercises. What you will take away from this workshop is a simple daily routine for yourself to improve body awareness, softness and strength, and how this will affect your daily life. With the joint mobility routine you will learn to manage and reduce pain, this is also strongly connected to our lymphatic system, and is directly affecting our central nervous system, connective tissue, and mind/body connection.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Chris Fox is a Movement Educator, FRC Mobility Specialist, and Teacher Trainer that focuses on body awareness, safe and curious movement, offering simple techniques and methods to improve internal strength, confidence, and freedom within. He has over 8 years of experience of teaching classes, workshops, trainings, and privates with an emphasis on inclusivity and sustainability to increase confidence and curiosity for movement and freedom within the body and beyond.
