This Balinese school is the oldest and one of the most prestigious international schools in Bali.
It was founded in 1986 and is a private, non-profit, co-educational school.
The school serves students from preschool to grade 12. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization.
The school's staff consists of professionally qualified teachers from Australia, Canada, Indonesia, France, the United Kingdom, the USA, and New Zealand.
The curriculum is taught in both English and Indonesian, using the International Cambridge curriculum and the national curriculum from preschool playgroup to grade 12.
Graduates of Sekolah Dyatmika continue their studies in colleges and universities in Indonesia and around the world. The school has programs for children starting from the age of three.
Playgroup (PG)
This is where the educational journey begins. The best way for three-year-olds to learn is through purposeful play. They learn pre-literacy and pre-numeracy skills and discover their world through play, movement, music, art, and craft. Children benefit from weekly library visits, where they learn to borrow books and develop a love of reading.
Kindergarten
The program is led by two bilingual early childhood teachers, assisted by two bilingual teaching assistants, all supported by an international early childhood coordinator.
The English component uses the fun and engaging Jolly Phonics literacy program, designed to give children foundational speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English.
