Ubud Food Festival 2025: A Culinary Journey in Bali’s Heart

From May 30 to June 1, 2025, Bali's cultural center, Ubud, will transform into the gastronomic capital of Indonesia. The milestone tenth Ubud Food Festival (UFF) will bring together the best chefs, farmers, artisans, experts, and food enthusiasts to celebrate the culinary heritage of the archipelago.

The theme of the festival is 'Heritage.' This is not just about remembering traditions, but their modern interpretation. From recipes passed down through generations to bold interpretations of classic dishes, each dish at the festival will tell its own story.
The main festival venue, the open-air space Taman Kuliner, becomes a true village market under the open sky, filled with the aroma of spices and roasted satay. Ubud Food Festival combines soulful street food with exquisite haute cuisine, along with deep conversations that awaken an appetite not only for food but also for new meanings.
What makes UFF 2025 special:
  • 10th Anniversary Edition: The festival celebrates a decade in style.
  • Theme of the Year – Heritage: Spotlight on traditional recipes and time-honored cooking methods.
  • Focus on Women in Gastronomy: Honoring tradition-keepers and innovators shaping the nation’s culinary culture.
  • Art Meets Food: Festival venues will be transformed into Instagram-worthy visual experiences.
The festival will unite Michelin-starred chefs, cookbook authors, stars of Bali's contemporary culinary trends, as well as coffee and cocoa producers from Sumatra, Sulawesi, and Flores.
