The best area in Bali for families with children. How to choose an area for a family vacation

Which areas of Bali are considered the best for family holidays and for long-term living with children? Which areas have the best developed infrastructure for families with children?

Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Sanur and Tanjung Benoa - as I understand it, the best resorts in Bali, and which one is better to choose for a holiday with children. Please tell me.

In Sanur, everything is fine with cafes, and the sea is convenient for kids; everything is within walking distance (especially if you stay in the central area, around Hardy's). There are playgrounds at clubs like Byrdhouse, Artotel, and a cafe called Nyam-something - you can boldly go in and use them. There is also a large paid playground called Pick-a-Boo.

"We chose Berawa and Canggu. Here, there's Tamora, Made Warung, Parklife, and the waves are not a problem because there are low tides, and it's a lot of fun for little kids to 'swim' during them.

In Nusa, life is only in the hotel, it's boring, at least for us. You can go there every weekend and buy a day pass."

PS: by the way, we haven’t decided on the placement option either. I don't want to go to the hotel. Maybe something like a villa, house or apartment (if that happens)

Hello. With young children, areas like Nusa Dua and Sanur are suitable. There isn't much within walking distance, and there are hardly any sidewalks. Therefore, it can be challenging with a stroller. An ergonomic backpack is very useful - for a two-year-old, a toddler or preschool-sized one would be suitable. In Sanur, if you stay in hotels near the ocean, you can walk to the beach. If you rent a villa, it may take 10-15 minutes to walk to the coast. In any case, you will need your own transportation or a taxi (GoJek and Grab are available in Bali).
